Solly March can be injury free and a fantastic asset for 2025-26

Solly March will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season with Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler confirming the winger has undergone an operation to clean up the knee impacted by his ACL injury.

Judging by the reaction of some Albion fans, you might have thought March had seen both his legs cut off. He’s done. Retirement. No coming back from this. Those were the gist of comments posted on social media in response to the news.

It has been a long and complicated road back for Solly March since he suffered the second major ACL injury of his career in October 2023.

March had two operations and spent 14 months on the sidelines before making his comeback just after Christmas 2024. He has had his minutes carefully managed ever since, making only one start for Brighton since that devastating afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.
