Igor Matanovic completed the turnaround for Croatia as they earned a 2-1 friendly win over Colombia at Camping World Stadium.
Jhon Arias had given Nestor Lorenzo’s side a very early lead, but Croatia came from behind to secure their victory before the first half was over.
Colombia were ahead inside two minutes as Jhon Lucumi’s cross was diverted to Arias by Luis Suarez, and the winger made no mistake with the finish.
But just four minutes later, Croatia were back on level terms as Luka Vuskovic took a chance from distance and a slight deflection off Lucumi, which wrongfooted Camilo Vargas.
Colombia pushed to retake their lead, with Suarez missing a couple of key opportunities before Matanovic powered home a header from a Marco Pasalic corner to flip the script.
Petar Musa struck the crossbar twice in the second half, but neither side was able to find another goal in a tightly fought contest in Orlando.
