Arsenal are reportedly set to rival Manchester United for Antoine Semenyo as their hunt for attacking reinforcements ramps up halfway through the first mini-summer transfer window. The Gunners look set to launch a bid for Benjamin Sesko and are also said to have held talks over Leroy Sane, while Viktor Gyokeres and Ollie Watkins could remain in the frame as they try and finally seal the signing of Martin Zubimendi.
Manchester United have launched their opening bid for Bryan Mbeumo at Brentford and are now rumoured to have upped their own pursuit of Gyokeres. Liverpool are hopeful of striking a club-record deal for Florian Wirtz as they also close in on Milos Kerkez, though Chelsea are out in front in the battle for Hugo Ekitike as they look to negotiate a deal for another striker after announcing Liam Delap’s arrival.
